Congress rolls up its sleeves

Congress will certify the results of the presidential election, after which Republicans will set to work on their legislative priorities: a bill on immigration, energy and defence, and the extension of tax cuts Donald Trump put in place during his first term. The president-elect said he expected it all to come in “one powerful bill” that he wanted on his desk “as soon as possible”.
